Muharram is a sign of sacrifice

 Muharram is popularly known as Peer Festival in rural areas. Muharram is the month in which Prophet Manu Madu initiated the peaceful coexistence of the people with his sacrifice. The enemy army was dismayed as they rushed towards the enemy army tearing through thousands of enemies. Hussain, who was lying on the ground with his bloodied body, started his last prayer, and the world was shocked when the Prophet 'Shuvrelain' cut our neck. Grieving people with a broken heart. Blood was formed on the ground of Karbala which was soaked with the blood of that righteous man. This incident took place on the tenth day of the month of Moharram on Friday, October 10, 680 AD.


Special prayers are offered for the peace of the souls of the heroes who got Shahadat (immortality) on the Karbala field and they ask God to bestow the virtue of reciting the Quran on the souls of the heroes of Karbala. It will be celebrated worldwide as 'Yame Ashura' on 17th July 2024.
